Hanging Ivy

shoes: Dr Martens, Trousers: River Island, Jacket: Levis, Top: brothers
I took these photos in college, it was quite interesting looking around for places to take photos, usually I just see the boring bits of building, but when I actually looked there were loads of cool little nooks and crannies.
I'm trying to save up for a new camera because I'm not particularly happy with the sharpness of some photos, plus I'd really like to start using a dslr instead of a bridge. Anyway, I've somehow managed to save up all of my wages from the past three weeks, so I was looking at possibly getting a new camera next week. This morning I removed my debit card from my wallet so that I wouldn't be tempted to waste any money on packets of sweets and coffee at college. Well I've just ruined three weeks of careful saving by looking at the online Urban Outfitters sale, I shouldn't have looked. I found my dream pair of red velvet dungarees by House of Hackney for less than half price, I'd been looking at them for a long time but I didn't have the guts to get them. I feel a bit sick after spending so much money on impulse and I feel like I've cheated on my debit card, but I know that I will get a lot of wear out of them (excuses, excuses.).

Valentines Night

Jacket: Levis, Pinafore: c/o George @ asda, crop top: Minkpink

Me and my best friend Poppy went to the cinema on valentines to watch Dallas Buyers Club, I don't have a boyfriend, even despite my Dad telling me that it would make my car insurance cheaper?! Anyway it was nice to see my best friend for a while because my college and working hours rarely meet up with hers. I wore this lovely pinafore by George, it's quite an unusual thing to choose to wear when it's almost freezing out side but I really liked the colours and print, so I braved the cold and risked hypothermia. Dallas Buyers Club was amazing, one of the best films I have seen in a long time, if you get the chance to go and see it I would definitely recommend it.

House Of Hackney X ASOS

Top: Asos, Jacket: carboot, bag: Zatchels, shoes: dr martens, skirt: primark.

The house of hackney x asos collaboration is my favourite between a higher end brand and a high street brand. None of the H&M collaborations have ever made me excited enough to make a purchase, I've always felt like the prices have been too high and the clothes too gaudy. House of Hackney is one of my absolute favourite brands, I was so pleased to see such a good collection. I think all of the clothes have retained a very luxurious feel but with a lower price tag. I really like the unusual smock shape of the top, and I also love the fact that the top is made in England. I was also happy to see so much velvet and tartan because its pretty much all I wear.

cape: charity shop, skirt: h&m, shoes: topshop, crop top: minkpink

I haven't posted in a little while, sorry. I can't wait for half term to start, I have so many ideas for new content and I have so much stuff I want to get on with. I'd actually like to start with tidying my room as it has been a halfway house/dumping ground for clothes and crockery for the past month.
